About

Magdalena Doering is an award-winning New Zealand concert violinist. She completed her degree in Solo Violin Performance under renowned international soloist Professor Linus Roth, in Augsburg Germany in 2022, graduating with Honours and the hugest grade possible. She then completed a Master of Arts at Mozarteum University under the tutelage of world-renowned pedagogue, soloist, recording artist and Heifetz student, Professor Pierre Amoyal.


Born and raised in Auckland New Zealand, Magdalena began playing the violin at age seven. Highly sort after,

Magdalena has performed in concert halls around The globe including in Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. 

She has taken Masterclasses with musicians such as Stefan Accardo, My-Kyung Lee, Silvia Marcovici, Leon Spierer, Kirill Troussov and Barnabas Kelemen.

 During her studies in Australia, Magdalena received the NCPST Samoa for outreach projects in the South Pacific with the National Orchestra of Samoa.
